A group of artists freshly founded the Sommerakademie Homburg . We offer a variety of interesting classes in the fields of:
paper art – music – singing – print art – drawing – paintingHomburg’s Castle and the Paper Mill offer a perfectly suiting ambiance for a week long inspiring exchange of ideas and creative work.

K 1.2 Experimental Drawing
Class description: … developing a new way of seeing, and translating this into a consciously strengthened line.In this class we will sharpen our way of perception and push the boundaries of drawing through extensive exercising and experimenting. During this week long workshop each student will redefine one’s own potentials and individual expressions. In order to get there we will use rather unusual methods while relating towards contemporary ways of drawing.
You will receive a list of materials and tools after having signed up for this class.
Prerequisite: previous knowledge in drawing is not required – except an adventurous and daring spirit and a good portion of curiosity!
Number of participants: max. 10 people
Location: The Paper Barn at the Paper Mill in Homburg

OFF THE WALL
A group show on both floors of Space Gallery in San Francisco. I am very excited to be part of this event, and very eager to invite all of you to come and see this exhibition of virtuosity on Polk Street. This is my first partaking in a show in California since I have moved back here. There will be 11 new cut-outs made from recycled paper (eventually you might find a 12th piece on the wall, but this still depends on tonight’s productivity).

The show starts on Tuesday September 22, and ends in the night from September 27 to September 28, 2009. Doors are open every night between 8 pm and 2 am next morning.
I’d like to invite you to join us all for the opening reception on Friday, September 25, starting at 8 pm and going until late!
There will be a Live Performance by Why Wait?, and music by Dj’s HMD, Sophomore, Air Man & Sam Son, ZobeAdmission is $5 (with raffle ticket)
A drawing will determine the winners of several art pieces on display.
