circlefly take-off!
Today is a very special day! Circlefly.de is taking off to new hights. With great pleasure I announce an entirely reworked, reengineered, and updated website. All merits belong to Bronson McKinley who developed Circlefly’s intestines. He newly programmed it and has done a fantastic job. In comparison to Circlefly the First, and Circlefly the Second, Circlefly the Third is now offering a much more detailed news section, its gallery is divided into collections, under special are three Mafia-Boxes to fly through, the shop is freshly stocked and ready to go with PayPal, and you can subscribe to an RSS-Feed in order to stay into close and direct contact with Circlefly.
We will continue working on Circlefly in keeping it up to date with what is going on in the arts, and also improve its technical standards. We always love getting emails, and hope that many will sign up for the newsletter. For now we wish you lots of fun while exploring Circlefly!

Collage/Montage

An opening reception for all the diversely glued and mounted pieces will be held next Friday at the BBK Gallery, February 29 starting at 7 pm. On display will be Begriffsnebel [nebulous terms], one of my cut-out pieces. It was chosen to be the cover of the invitation card, which I was then asked to design. Gallery Schwarzweller in Würzburg
The club room of Würzburg’s former civic gallery will host a one person show beginning November 10. Its opening reception will be at 4 pm when Gail Gilmore, an opera and gospel singer from New Orleans, will be performing, and when Luise Limburg will be giving an introduction. For the most part, I will be presenting new work, of which most was made with paper and x-acto knife. In reference to the new use of this building as an interior design and framing store, I call this show Adieu Raufaser [farewell woodchip wallpaper]. Those who can not make it to the opening can still visit the show Monday through Friday between 9.30 am and 6.30 pm, on Staurdays between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm. And on the four Saturdays before Christmas, the gallery will be open until 6 pm. The exhibition will end on January 5, 2008.
